Teenage Tourist is an open, community-powered idea and free information service for Teenagers who wish to share experiences, ideas, tips, tricks and information with other young like minded explorers.
Researching a holiday is always an uncertain experience. As a Teenager and a prospective tourist, travellers are usually limited to expensive resources such as travel agents and guidebooks (which are also often out of date). Hence the chances of getting balanced, up-to-date information about a holiday is pretty limited.
Teenage Tourist combines community; self expression and entertainment, enabling you to create your own personal tabloid, which you can create and describe your favourite memories and tell stories of your own amazing Trips.
This is achieved by allowing users to:
Add videos, songs, pictures, an extended description and have collaborative discussions. Teenage Tourist is a platform that integrates the most popular social networks aimed at our demographic. This mean you can share ‘tips and tricks’ via Facebook, Twitter, and add your photos straight from Flickr. To make sure every single traveller is unique they are given a unique traveller ID.
